Vidya opened up her weight loss journey for the first time. In one interview, Vidya told that she always struggled to be thin. She recently lost 10kg weight with diet and no exercise formula.

In an interview she said that “I have dieted like crazy to be thin. Not only did I dieted, I exercised like crazy. However, sometimes I would lose weight and then it would come back. For many years my weight has only increased, there's been no reduction.”
Then she connected with nutritional group in Chennai and they told her that shes suffered from inflammation. Then the nutritionist put her on a diet to ‘Elimination of inflammation’. Vidya said, “They ask me to stop workout and then I haven't work out for a year. Also, they eliminates the food that were not suiting her.”
